Anglesey is an island separated from the mainland by the picturesque Menai Strait. The island is accessed by the 19th-century Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge, rebuilt in the 20th century.
As the largest island in Wales, Anglesey spans an area of 276 square miles, making it the fifth-largest island in Britain.
Over the next 5 years, we will be focusing on investing for the future and our investment programme for Anglesey will be looking to improve resilience in our drinking water network, as well as protecting and improving the environment by focusing our efforts on our wastewater treatment sites.
Every five years we prepare a regulatory business plan which is submitted to Ofwat as part of the Price Review process. The plans are based on customer views and cover our performance commitments, efficiency, investments, and bills. Below is an example of the work carried out in your area during the previous investment period 2020-2025.

We have carried out improvement work at our Benllech wastewater treatment works, replacing two final settlement tanks.
This work on site provides a number of different benefits to the site, but overall, these measures contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment process at Benllech Wastewater treatment works.
