Over the next five years, we will be focusing on investing for the future. This includes continuing to improve resilience in our drinking water network as well as strengthening our efforts to protect and improve the local environment.
Every five years we prepare a regulatory business plan which is submitted to Ofwat as part of the Price Review process. The plans are based on customer views and cover our performance commitments, efficiency, investments, and bills. Below is an example of the work carried out in your area during the previous investment period 2020-2025.

We invested £9 million to upgrade the assets at Lluest Wen Reservoir, which serves around 15,000 customers across the Rhondda Fach and in surrounding areas. The work involved refurbishing the spillway, which is the overflow for the reservoir. This feature allows excess water from the river which is not used for drinking water supplies to pass safely around the dam.
Keeping this asset in good condition is essential as it helps protect the dam against flood damage and ensuring a reliable source of water for the whole community. The work took around two years to complete.
